The short version
Everything you type into a ShiftTally calculator — names, hours, rates, client details — is processed entirely in your web browser and is never transmitted to our servers or anyone else's. We could not read your data if we wanted to; the site is static files with no backend.
Calculator data and local storage
For convenience, the tools save your entries to your browser's local storage so the form is still filled in when you return. This data lives only on your device. Clearing your browser's site data erases it permanently. To remove it manually, use each tool's "Clear all" / "Reset" button or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings.
What we collect
We do not require accounts, collect email addresses, or run analytics that identify you. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes standard technical request logs — IP address, user agent, requested page — to serve and secure the site, as virtually all web hosting does. Advertising and cookies
The site may display advertising (such as Google AdSense) to keep the tools free. If ads are shown, the advertising partner may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including, where you have consented, personalized ads. Google's use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and you can manage personalization at adssettings.google.com. Where required (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent banner will be shown before any advertising cookies are set. ShiftTally itself sets no tracking cookies.
Children
The site is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Material changes will be noted on this page.
